PHILIPPINES

The Philippines consist of over 7000 tropical islands and are one of the treasures of Southeast-Asia. Approximately 1000 of these islands are inhabited. There are underground rivers, limestone formations, caves and untouched patches of rainforest. Enough to do and see for an adventurous traveller that likes ‘unusual’ destinations. Furthermore, the population and culture make the Philippines unique.

Climate/ working climate:
The Philippines have a tropical climate, that is characterized by high temperatures, a high humidity and abundant rainfall. From March until May the temperature in parts of the Philippines is very high. Followed by much rain in big parts of the country from May till October as a consequence of the monsoon. The average temperature in the Philippines on sea level is about 27°C.

Because of the long-lasting relationship between the Philippines and the United States, the Philippine business world has been “Americanized” in a reasonable degree. The Asian element is also present and at the Philippines and can not be underestimated. This means that business is done on a base of trust in the person that the company represents.
