SINGAPORE
Singapore is country, island and capital city all in one. It is surrounded by linked small islands. A bridge over the Strait of Johor forms the link with the Malay peninsula. The culture is very diverse due to the very many different religions that Singapore has.
Climate/working climate
Thanks to its position near to the equator, Singapore has a tropical climate. There are very high average temperatures during the whole of the year. The average temperature is 26.7° C. The temperature rarely drops below 20° C, not even at night. The temperature nearly always rises to approximately 30° C during the day.
Singapore: a particularly clean city
Paying attention to local etiquette and the strict legislation is very important in Singapore. It is, for example, impolite to put your hands on your hips or to stand with your arms crossed. Throwing rubbish on the street is a definite no-no. The advantage is that you will be walking through an extremely clean city.
