‘Expat fair results in 300 new contacts thanks to a good concept’

12 October was all about expats at LEX. The ‘I am not a tourist’ fair of Expatica provided the ideal opportunity for informing expats in the Netherlands about our services. We did this using a unique concept.

At the end of September LEX concluded a partnership with two world brands: Kuoni travel and Meleya coffee:
Kuoni is the travel organisation when it comes to business travel and exclusive travel around the world. We handed out the book with the most exclusive options: Emotions.
Meleya is coffee with ambition. It comes from beautiful Ethiopia and the company is determined to increase brand awareness amongst the coffee-drinking Dutch. We gave them a hand by serving a delicious cup of coffee.

The combination of the three globally orientated companies ensured the approach was one of the most successful ones. Visitors agreed with this and even more so when they realised that they could win one of two travel cheques for € 1,000 euros in the raffle we had organised. We took great pleasure in announcing that Karelia Jarva and Eva Szczygielsica were the lucky winners at the end of the day.

LEX was the only recruiter that is active on the international job market at the fair. This ensured that we could attract the attention of expats who have been living in the Netherlands for a longer period of time. This resulted in a large number of new registrations by experienced expats who are looking for a new challenge.
